About Hydrotherapy Float
In addition to traditional float sessions, we also offer Hydrotherapy Float, which uses water and massage to provide a combination of healing, relaxation, and well-being. Hydrotherapy Float therapy is performed in conjunction with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and includes an insurance receipt. This service combines a personalized assessment and treatment plan, added to your 60-minute Float session.
Healing in Water
Throughout history, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman civilizations looked to various forms of hydrotherapy, combined with rich, essential oils, to relief and manage pain. Hydrotherapy Float could be beneficial for relieving many conditions such as muscular tension, arthritis, chronic pain, muscle discomfort, recovery, and much more!
Our Registered Massage Therapist will assess your necessities and will build your own treatment plan incorporating massage, floating and any other holistic approach.
How It Works
Before Your Float
For 15 to 20 minutes, the RMT will ask you to complete an assessment form and discuss how a float session and massage can support your health.
During Your Float
Enjoy your 60 min float session.
After Your Float
The RMT will discuss with you your next steps in the treatment plan based on your physical condition and health history. You will receive an insurance receipt that includes the RMT's signature and registration number for you to submit to your insurance company.
To find out if an insurance plan covers this service, please ask your insurance provider if the plan includes “Hydrotherapy Massage Treatments administered by an RMT." Please note that a standard Float session, though physically and mentally beneficial, does not involve any practitioner and it is not covered by most insurance plans in Canada.
