We’ll escort you to the private room that houses your float tank along with a shower. You’ll have complete privacy to undress—you can wear a bathing suit if you prefer, but floating without clothing is best. We provide all of the cleansing products you’ll need, all-natural, as well as face care products to use after your float. You don’t have to carry any of that with you, unless you’d like to bring something of your own, like makeup for after you’ve finished. We also provide earplugs to keep the water from your ears, which provides another layer of welcomed quiet.
Entering your float tank, you’ll truly leave the frenzy of the city behind when you close the door. You can choose to float in silence, or there is an option of meditative music. You can also choose to float with dim lighting and twinkle lights or complete darkness.
Your float tank will be filled with a solution of approximately 1000 lbs of healing Epsom salt. This allows you to easily float on the surface of the shallow water without exerting any effort whatsoever. You’ll let go of the feeling of gravity along with your tension as the Epsom salt solution supports your entire body weight. The buoyancy alleviates the pressure from your joints and muscles, allowing for complete relaxation.
The water temperature is set to that of your body (around 34-35°C or 93-95°F); not too warm and not too cold. You won’t even feel where the water starts and ends. It’s a perfect temperature for full-body relaxation and healing!
While some people fall asleep in the float tank (don’t worry, it’s impossible to sink), most people experience a sort of relaxation trance. They aren’t asleep or awake. They’re just completely and utterly relaxed!
